Our boot camp is about fun and fitness and results (don’t forget about the prizes). It 's a 4 week outdoor fitness program that provides challenges in the 6 essential categories of exercise camps

This is not to mention motivation, encouragement, nutritional counseling, fitness evaluations and did I mention prizes? Doc Bruno’s Boot Camp was created by personal trainer and doctor of chiropractic Albert Bruno who brings a unique style of fitness and fun challenges together to produce amazing results for everyone. Our camp meets for one hour M/W/F and Sat, starting at 6 am to 7 am at the Ballard Commons Park located at 5701 22nd Ave. NW Seattle Wa 98107
Absolutely .... This camp is for everyone, beginners and beyond. Because of our program format and design everyone is uniquely challenged and encouraged. Everyone has similar goals and interests even though they are uniquely emphasized. From our free fitness evaluation we get to know you, set your goals, check your physical health and work together for maximum results no matter what your fitness level is. It’s all about encouragement, transformation and results. So if you are a beginner, just getting back to exercising, in shape and looking for a new challenge, then our boot camp is for you so don’t wait, register now and find the real you.
Our boot camp workout was uniquely designed by fitness enthusiast and Doctor of Chiropractic, Albert R Bruno. He uniquely blends specific exercises around the use of a medicine ball to create a challenging workout that gets results and is a blast. His 6 essential exercise components for a boot camp workout is both innovative and progressive. Because of his fitness program design it blends strength, endurance, flexibility, speed, agility and cardio with a big dose of fun to get you fit fast and results even faster. Get going and register. Yes you do. Besides yourself, your best friends and your family because this workout is fun, you will need to bring the following :
- A good pair of training shoes. My office can custom fit orthotics for you, check this link to learn about custom orthotics,
- Water
- A medicine ball. We recommend the following found at big 5 or sports authority. Click this link to learn more.
- Appropriate training clothing for expected weather.
Well at first like anything you will be starting a fun fitness program so the first day is about getting started and getting back in the groove. You’ll meet people just like you, you’ll be learning our program, you’ll be challenged and you’ll exercise hard and know it. If you haven’t been exercising in awhile you’ll feel soreness for the fisrt few days or so, but it’s the kind of soreness that lets you know you have been exercising. If you have been exercising and have a base built up, you’ll still feel soreness from exercising because it’s a new workout for your body. After you get more workouts under your belt you’ll notice that your endurance and strength and fitness is getting better every time and soon clothes fit better, you feel lighter and athletic and healthy. Oh and in addition, you win things..that’s right ladies you have a chance to win discounted and free services from Duque Day Spa and Salon as well as discounted and free shopping. - Get yourself signed up and have your free fitness evaluation. We put you through a fitness test, we take measurements, body fat analysis and goal setting. We talk about nutrition, habits and lifestyle changes. We make sure you are healthy to begin this type of program.
- It’s really not necessary to do anything before beginning, but if you have signed up in advance, start walking or riding a stationary bike and doing some mild stretching (Click here for a link to stretching exercises). It will reduce the amount and length of soreness you experience and let you workout harder during your boot camp experience.
- Get your equipment ready. Buy your medicine ball (click here to lern about choosing the right medicine ball), proper shoes and workout attire in advance. There are many reasons you should participate in this program, but the biggest is your health. If you are out of shape, carrying 10lbs – 20lbs – 30lbs or more of extra weight, you need to do something about it. Sometimes you feel like you are in a rut, not making progress and need some guidance and motivation…that’s us. After participating in our boot camp, you’ll lose weight, see a measurable drop in body fat, feel stronger, have more endurance and feel athletic again. You’ll meet new people, make new friends, build confidence and live a healthier lifestyle. Oh and you can win PRIZES!
Your boot camp meets (4) four days per week for one hour each day. The registration is $219 for this unique boot camp workout. The benefits are priceless. Spaces fill quickly.
Click on the registration page and fill out the registration form and the informed consent page. All information is kept confidential. Once you have filled out your registration form and submitted it, send in your payment. We accept cash or check. You can mail checks to 5348 Ballard Ave NW Seattle Wa 98107 made out to ARB or drop checks off or pay cash at same address. You may also call and make arrangements to pay in cash at the time of your free health and fitness evlauation . Once you are registered and have paid for your boot camp, we will contact you about your health and fitness evaluation. Welcome to camp.
There is no refund policy. Once you have signed up, you have filled a space. If an emergency arises or you become sick or injured, you will be given a credit for another boot camp. (see credit policy).
Absolutely you can. I recommend that you keeping staying fit and healthy. My boot camp is designed to be fresh and new and keep you challenged and excited no matter how many session you take. The more familiar you are with the camp, the harder you can push yourself and that means RESULTS!
Often having a long standing injury like back pain, neck pain or foot and knee pain contributed to being out of shape. I see this all the time. Knowing what the problem is and what to do about it not only gives you the best opportunity for success, but allows you to have a better quality of life and get back to being you. Sometimes we forget about this and just compensate to the injury and pain. Having your free health and fitness evaluation allows you to discover what the problem is and have a professional opinion from an experienced and knowledgeable doctor about your options and get you started back on the road of health and fitness.
The pre camp health and fitness evaluation is free to all participant’s and conveniently located near the boot camp workout location at Doc Bruno’s Chiropractic Clinic next to Duque’s Day Spa and Salon. Once your appointment is made, we give you an introduction to the boot camp. Next I review your medical history and examine your health for any potential problems or predisposed conditions that may lead to injury or prevent you from completing the camp. Often being out of shape is the result of an injury. This usually does not take long. I answer your questions and let you now if there are any problems. Once that is completed, you will undergo a fitness evaluation and set your goals. Next we take simple baseline measurements like weight, body fat percentage and flexibility. Again we answer questions and you are ready to go!
